Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the Secret Garden? It is SustainEd Farms' annual fundraiser! It is an opportunity to recognize the school gardens across the city that provide learning spaces to students and grow food for those that need it most in Denver. Not everyone knows about the impact a school garden can have and our goal is to unveil that secret, while raising funds to support future programming for students!

When is the event? November 2nd, 2024 from 6:00 to 11:00 PM. Entertainment and check-in will begin right at 6:00 and dinner will begin at 7:00.

Where is the event? Mercury Cafe Ballroom, 2199 California Street, Denver, Colorado 80205

What should I wear? This year, the theme of the event is "Sequins & Spurs." We are taking inspiration from Denver's Western history and two of the top albums of the year, Cowboy Carter & The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Think cocktail attire with a glitzy-Western twist (cowboy boots & hats, glitz and sequins, fringe, bolo ties, rodeo, etc.). While adherence to the theme is not required we encourage you to embrace the theme as you feel comfortable.

What do I get with my ticket? Every ticket gets two drinks from our sponsors (there will be a cash bar available after you've used your two tickets); dinner and dessert featuring produce from our gardens, live entertainment; access to our silent auction; and an opportunity to support the mission and vision of SustainEd Farms.

Who is performing? We are holding onto some secrets! We will reveal more details closer to the event.

Where should I park? We encourage public transportation, carpooling, and ride sharing. Venue parking is limited to the street.

Are there assigned tables or seating? No! We want our guests to mix and mingle. There will be a variety of seating options available, but we in fact want most people up and moving throughout the space, so we ask that you don't save seats or tables for yourself or others unless you are presently sitting there. This allows folks to be able to have a seat when they would like to eat.

What is this email from BetterUnite? BetterUnite is the platform we use to manage tickets, the silent and live auctions, and other donations at the event. It will support a speedy check-in if you are able to pre-authorize your credit card. You will be able to bid from your cell phone at the event, and receive text updates as you win and lose items.

What if I have a dietary restriction? We have done our best to anticipate the most common dietary restrictions. We will have vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options for meals. If you have another need please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Can I bring my kids? This is a 21+ event, and you must have valid identification upon entry. As such, kids are not permitted at this event.

What if I can no longer make it? Please let us know asap by emailing Matt@sustainedfarms.org. Although tickets are nonrefundable, letting us know you can't make it will open up more space and more tickets for others; we will have a waitlist once tickets are sold out.
